When Jilly won the prize to visit the BBC West Midlands studios the last thing she expected was to do a live turn on the Phil Upton breakfast show! As she arrived on Monday morning to have a tour of the studios and sit in on the breakfast show, none other than our very own client Tim Hurdiss from Chord Deeley had called in live on air to discuss the economic downturn and how it has affected the West Midlands.
So naturally Jilly felt it was only right to add her perspective to the discussion and right at the end of the show, Jilly and Tim Andrews from Hollywood Monster had their chance to air their views on the situation. Jilly echoed Tim Hurdiss’ sentiments that while the recession has slowed down a number of developments and some schemes have come to a halt completely, there are still a lot of positives out there and schemes are progressing slowly but surely. Tim Andrews only confirmed this view by adding that Hollywood Monster have had their busiest month to date! So things are not quite as bad as they seem here in the West Midlands and we hope that you all share our optimism for the future.
