Jewellery Quarter Three-Legged Santa Race 09

Last night saw the annual Jewellery Quarter Three-legged Santa Race take place outside the Big Peg building, and of course Barques couldn’t resist putting in a couple of teams in the name of charity (and for the chance to see Kev dressed as a fairy!).

Raising money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Kev and Dave along with Ian and Katherine took part in the 40m race with varying degrees of success, but thankfully we all remained on our feet and no injuries were sustained! Well, with the exception of a mild case of hypothermia for Kev seen as his fairy outfit provided very little warmth in the icy winds!

Congratulations to the winners, looks like we need to do some training if we want that trophy next year!
