Here at Barques we are all thrilled to welcome back Nick and his team from The Bucklemaker restaurant, now to be known as Anderson’s Bar and Grill.
The entire Jewellery Quarter and business community were saddened when The Bucklemaker had to close its doors as it was one of our favourite restaurants in the area, however when we heard that the old team have got together to form Anderson’s we were so excited we just had to tell everyone!
The Bucklemaker’s former head chef Danny Anderson and front of house manager Simon Marsh could not stand to see this famous establishment go! So with Nick Crudgington’s verve the newly refurbished restaurant will re-open on Monday 12th October with a new menu to boot.
Birmingham has long been crying out for a quality steak house and this is where Anderson’s comes in. Offering the finest cuts of steak from Aberdeen Angus and shorthorn cattle, alongside classic English dishes such as steak and kidney pie, the restaurant aims to be the city’s first modern steak house.
We hope that you will join us in lending your support to the restaurant and wishing the team every success in their new venture. Take a look at the pictures below for an exclusive sneak preview of the restaurant!
