New Estate, Building and Tenant directory signage – Jan 2008
Parkside has undergone a programme of upgrading all the existing estate, building and tenant directory signage. The new signagehas been provided by Concept Signs. The new signage enhances Parkside bringing a fresh, bright and modern edge to the Park. The directory enables visitors to easily find their destination and gives renewed identity to each of the buildings and the Tenant signage.
External Redecoration of Parkside3700 – Jan 2008
Works has been finalised to give a complete external facelift to Parkside 3700. The works include a colour change to the exterior cladding and repainting of exterior fire escapes and front entrance doors. The external works complement the comprehensive internal refurbishment to top Grade A specification. Project coordination was handled by Chris Harvey of Savill’s Birmingham office.
Landscaping improvement works to Parkside3700 – Dec 2007
New landscaping works to the main entrance of Parkside 3700 have been carried out by Avon Woodlands providing an upgraded and modern approach to the property, complementing the excellent on-site car parking, with 114 car parking spaces available to the building.
Appointment of Drivers Jonas and KWB as joint letting agents – Aug 2007

Appointment of Savills as Managing Agents – Aug 2007
Savills have been appointed by Birmingham Parkside Ltd as Managing Agents for Parkside, Birmingham Business Park. Savills will ensure that the estate is managed effectively, providing property and facilities management, along with property accounting services. Cheryl Wye based in Savill’s Birmingham offices is dealing with this instruction and is the primary Tenant contact.
Purchase by Birmingham Parkside Ltd – Aug 2007
Birmingham Parkside Ltd completed the purchase of the Parkside property at Birmingham Business Park. They are keen to carry out further improvement works to the property and to revitalise the Park environment with external landscaping works to provide a unique working environment for the Tenants. This follows the refurbishment of Parkside3700 by the previous owners Equitable Life.
New letting of 2,200 sq ft to Edwin Hill – July 2007
Property Consultants Edwin Hill, already located on Birmingham Business Park were seeking expansion space. 3800 Parkside provided Grade A office accommodation, close to the Park’s amenities and with excellent on site car parking. Edwin Hill took a five year lease at £18 per sq ft.
New letting of 3,000 sq ft to Joynes Pike Associates – Mar 2007
Joynes Pike were seeking prestigious offices with good access to the motorway network and took a 5 year lease at £18 per sq ft.
Comprehensive refurbishment of Parkside 3700 – Dec 2006
A comprehensive internal refurbishment was completed by Mansell Construction Services Ltd. This included the installation of a new VRV air conditioning system, new LG3 lighting, fully accessible raised floors with new carpeting throughout and significant upgrading of the common areas including a fully tiled double height reception creating a striking entrance and comprehensive refurbishment of the toilets. The Project Coordinator was Andrew Hawkins of Knight Frank’s Birmingham office.
New lettings to Balfour Beatty and Origen - November 2006
Two lettings have been successfully completed in Parkside 3800 with 2,148 sq ft let to Origen Ltd and a further 2,098 sq ft let to Balfour Beatty Group. Both lettings are on new leases at £18 per sq ft – extremely cost effective office space for the specification, which includes full refurbishment and excellent car parking facilities. New letting to Wagon plc - November 2005
Wagon plc has signed a new lease on the first floor of Building 3500 at Parkside on Birmingham Business Park, in Solihull, at £18 per sq ft. Wagon were looking for Grade A offices with a quick turnaround and Parkside was able to provide both. Solicitors were instructed in mid-July and Wagon was operational from its new offices following a full fit-out, by the end of August.
