Are you craving a festive beverage from your favourite high street coffee chain?
It’s surprisingly easy to recreate the recipes at home, like this delicious peppermint mocha recipe.
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
120ml espresso / strong coffee
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
Squirty cream, grated chocolate, crushed candy canes
- Add the milk, cocoa powder and sugar to a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until the sugar has completely dissolved
- Stir in the coffee and peppermint extract
- Remove from the heat and pour into your favourite mug
- Top with some squirty cream and the grated chocolate. If you’re feeling particularly fancy you can add some crushed candy canes to the top.
