Festival season is arriving…
As we approach another bank holiday weekend, there are more and more summer activities happening in Birmingham. With the weather starting to pick up, don’t let your weekend go to waste!
To start this bank holiday weekend off, No21 Digbeth are hosting a street food cinema experience. That sounds like an evening you don’t want to miss out on, with gourmet street foods and your favourite pop culture films. An outdoor cinema is always a lovely way to spend an evening and you just cannot go wrong with a tub of popcorn in your hands.
That’s not the only thing happening at No21 Digbeth, they are also putting together a BBQ and beer festival. This is Birmingham’s first barbeque festival with all the meats you can imagine and of course not only that, you’ll be drinking Birmingham’s finest beer from a variety of bars.
If you’re looking for more fun and dancing, then it is the annual Birmingham Pride festival. It takes place every spring bank holiday, and it’s the time of year for the LGBT community to get together and fill our streets with colourful excitement. Saturday and Sunday will be filled with entertainment galore from early till late into the night, so wear comfortable shoes – its going to be a long day full of dancing.
Even if you’re deciding not to go out this weekend, enjoy the weather whatever you’re doing, from all of us here at Barques.
