Barques was tasked with delivering an online platform that included a booking system and results database for The Great Run Company to modernise its online presence.
The platform would not only promote The Great Run Company’s partners and events but enable participants to book a place, access personalised training content and view individual results that would keep them coming back for more.
We've created a platform that prioritises user experience, blending public information with personalised settings.
Geolocation tools enable personalised training content to be presented to the user based on geography, ability and training goals. There are details of upcoming running events, access to previous results and an online booking system, as well as the latest news and events in easily distinguishable sections.
The website benefits from an enormous amount of detail; every button, section and drop-down menu has been carefully crafted to improve the user interface. An expanded colour palette, new fonts and graphic devices further reinforce The Great Run Company’s digital presence.
The company’s internal design team liked the new website so much, they've adopted the new styling across all of their marketing, social media and email campaigns.
